About
I am currently a full-time student seeking a master’s degree in a psychology program with an intense love/obsession for hkdrama, tdrama (Taiwanese) and kdrama. Although I will never be able to come close to the greatness of Dramabeans, my goal is to be able to provide some kind of episodic/series review and/or summary for other dramas that I stumble across. Currently, I am more focused on the Western TV series as they are easier to recap at the moment simply because I have not had a new TVB series intrigue me in a long while and I haven’t seen anything extremely exciting on the Taiwanese end. I try to leave the Korean series to actual experts like Dramabeans.
Blogging is something that I’ve always loved to do but find it hard to stay motivated and committed. I typically start in a flurry and a rush of activity and then a year somehow passes by before I realize that I have not had any new posts up. I will try to be more vigilant with this one but if you start noticing bigger gaps between posting, please leave a comment or some kind of flashy email to let me know that I have – again – let another blog go by the wayside.
I hope you enjoy visiting my site and please come back often and let me know how I’m doing!
Yeah, I haven’t been that hook up with any Tdrama ever since Meteor Garden..and then comes Summer’s Desire
I’m happy that you like it too & made English novel recaps for us who does not know how to read Chinese. It also happens that I like Vampire Diaries too.. seems like we have some common interest
Thanks Tammy for taking time blogging!
May I know where you buy the 泡沫之夏 novel?,I am looking for it everywhere!thank:)
It’s on YesAsia; search the pinyin to find it. Don’t forget to get all three!
Thank you for your posting of Summer Desire. Two weeks ago I got to know the drana. I like that kinds of dramar very much. Watching foreign dramas is one of my hobbies.
Dear Tammy
Thanx for sharing with us Summer Desire novel … you really did a great job. I just finished watching this drama and is almost a replica or the novel and tv drama …
I like many others anticipating for the remaining chapters recap.
I am thinking to set up a special blog dedicating this drama with my other fans and wonder can I use your recaps. Of course all credit will goes to your name/blog. If not, I definitely understand
as is all your hardwork and dedication
Christine, I am honored that you want to include my recaps on your blog!
Of course you may use my recaps in your blog; I just ask that you include excerpts from my recaps (as opposed to copying and pasting the entire recap directly) and then linking that section back to my blog.
Thank you for your support!
Of course – thank Q so much for your approval. Greatly appreciated.
I am so so excited … this will be my mini project for this summer
You are a STAR!
You are most definitely welcomed! When you set up your blog, I would love to have URL to link to from my blog!
oh you’re so cool tammy…i’m sure you’re very busy doing your masters and yet you take the time doing blogs and translation…wow so adorable…thank thank you for sharing all of this. i got to your blog because of summer’s desire, can’t help myself asking for more. wow that’s one of my dreams to learn korean and chinese language…wishing you success
Tammy, I enjoyed your translated Summer’s Desire novel very very much. Now, really cliffhanger after Chapter 11. Is Chapter 12 the final chapter? It was a coincident that I happen to enjoy reading more than watching because at times depending on the direction and acting, the inner feeling of the character cannot be portrayed accordingly. Reading the novel spice up the watching. Can’t wait for your next installment of Summer’s Desire and keep up the great job. Ever since I discovered Dramabeans’ site (since kdrama “You’re Beautiful” last year), I’m now an avid follower and you can bet I will come back to your blog pretty often…you’re doing great!
I really enjoyed reading the novel translation of Summer Desire – you are doing a fantastic job! I’m looking forward to the final few chapters. I agree with diaryofalazyhousewife that you really made the watching of the drama more meaningful! I would definitely come back to your blog time and again even when you’ve finished the novel to see what treats you have in place for us. You are just GREAT!
Are you into Japanese Drama? I have to say it’s my favorite follow by TDrama, KDrama, and HKDrama.
I watched a few of the more “mainstream” Japanese dramas, but never really got into them. Do you have some recommendations?
oooo i got sent here by Therainhouse!
and she tells me that you talk about Summer’s Desire a lot too?
are you on that hype or has it passed?
and oh heck you watch Vampire Diaries too :’)
and i hope to do a psychology degree too
I’m still trying to be on the SD hype but it’s really hard with my schedule right now. My poor readers are getting rather frustrated with me, I’m sure because I still owe them one last chapter… ^_^
Thanks for stopping by!
